When I go to join games on any port they don't show in my menu. A few days ago I was being accused of hacking by several players and now I cant join these servers, I don't hack and was just having a good day.

Weasleteats was the nic.

I , by myself never banned anyone permanently from the DB Server in any way, else a temporarly ban from a specific dedi to give him time to cool down a bit. And alltime, all the years i did it 3 or 4 times. I dont know anything about chanuck would be banned.

A hard ( full server- ) ban we're diskus and vote for in our Forum !

And you know the golden rule ... never order a player to cheat or hack ... !!!

@ Chanuck: I wrote something for you in DF Forum.
PLease PM me, so i can check why you dont reach the DB Server.

two weeks bevor i had banned a player with an apparent Wallhack.
He used a IP-Rage i never saw bevor. So i dont know who he was

Any kind of homingmissles sometimes looking for peopel behind a Wall...

Thats was happend when i played against "Weasleteats" and in observ i saw that his reaction on silent-players bevor he saw them... its to early.. You know
my English is terrable iknow..

So the question is: Is Weasleteats = Canuck?

last but not least, i dont ban the player "Weasleteats" permanently. Im wondering way his not able to join
TempBans running and ends at the serverreboot. We reboot Servers each 2 days!

Hmm I've never used a wall-hack or any other hack in D3 in my life, I was just anticipating where the players were going and had lots of success lobbing shots that day. I tried to join DeepBlue servers again today and still cant see the servers in the Descent interface. I'll PM Wormaus with my IP.

I'm trying to switch up playing styles more often and have learned quite a few new tricks from the more experienced players. My game averages have gone up and so have the hack accusations as well.

I play with a PIII 800 MHZ machine and cap Descent to 60 HZ. Eventually I will install Descent on a faster machine and uncap to 1000+ FPS like many others do and see what that is like.

The tracking path of homing missiles on another client's machine is not affected by of 'transparent wall' hacking, because the path is determined by the server. [Also, getting hit by "invisible missiles" is due to the missile's path on the server being different than what you see.]

I don't like claims that someone "reacts too early", because good players (like Canuck and others) can anticipate where people are going to be by their flying patterns or by the sounds they make.

You cant be that sure to allocate it 100%. For that you need to know all the routines The D3 engine handle. Me also not.
If it we should not have a Problem to build our own D3..

Fakt is that the Serverbug i told from is reproducible. We can try a round ingame to show you,,, if you wannt

Canuck, i saw you react on Players you should never see or hear them.
Also why did you use unknown Nicknames? And play under thous Nicknames with an effi of 90? Why you dont give me an PM first to clear the situation? Its realy not the first time offender Players goes the loudly public way to affirm the conjurations!

Once again, I have no idea what serverbug or hack you are referring to... I don't hack and have no clue about any of the bugs and how to use them.

I was just having a good day. Skybox isn't that complicated of a map and when I see a herd of pyros headed to a corner I'm going to try and drop a mega on the crew or nape them all for the multiple kill if I can. I recall I had a few triple kills in those games as well. That was fun!

Weasleteats is one of my alias along with Teatmutt, Rabid_Poodles, and many others. I join games with those nics because there are a group of players that start to rag on me every time I join games simply when they see "Von Canuck". Now I'm going to have to make some more nics up to keep them guessing

As for efficiency and stats... phhht I don't even look or care. I just want to have fun online. 90% eh? I knew I was getting better

As for contacting you personally I had no idea who ran the servers, the people in charge, who banned me, and for what reason. I would have gladly PM'd you if I knew this information and if you look at my posts I have been very civil about this.

I have no idea what hack, bug, or exploit is being discussed here, but I assure you I have never hacked or played with my hardware to gain an unfair advantage. As an electronics technician I am very capable of modding my equipment to gain an unfair advantage, but I choose not to do so... thats cheating in my books.

well i also cant say that my Cheataccusation is for 100% sure.

All i saw was a Unknown Player on a buggy Server where someone had played hacked bevor. The reaktion of the unknown Player to the other Players was looking exactly and on a place where he cant see and hear them (in sevrel times)
I had observed you hacked, so I had saw it exacly to your opponents!

This lookes very baroque to me, and i forced by circumstances to safe the fun of the Players they played much classes of lower plains than you..
The ban was really temporary.

I will not accept a person calling me a hack, the server was open and I play a fair game. I flared all the pilots in that game more than once on spawnups, and other occasions, plus I went after more serious pilots more often... if a new guy got in the way... well sorry learn to tri-chord or learn to run the other way on spawnup, and don't bleed or cry on my ship... this is Descent Anarchy, I don't recall it being labeled Whine-Archy.

I went to Three forums and finally got a response weeks later. Thank-you to those defending me as I really do appreciate it.

Oh by the way anyone ever play the German Pilot named Tinkster? Descent Ranger D1 guy mostly. He was really scary with every weapon and in every mine. He knew where you were going before you did and would just wait for you. Almost every time. Awesome sniper, never saw him 90% of the time and a smart player.

I'd love to chat more Derick but I have to let the dog out for a pee, and really now I'm sorry you think me a hacker but you are mistaken sir.

After a long walk with elevation change with the dog, with him peeing on the thirty new bushes the Town Landscaping put in, and picking up a stinky poop in the dark shrubbery that made me gag looking for it, I came home made a beverage and checked 85.25.6.74 and whee!
